Assistant vice chancellor for research enterprise services
Diane Leite was found to have violated UC sexual harassment policy for not removing herself from professional decisions regarding subordinate employee Jonathan Caniezo, with whom she had a sexual relationship. From 2009-10, Caniezo received five salary increases initiated by Leite. Leite was demoted from her position, her pay was docked, and she was fired in May 2012.
