Custodian in Residential and Student Service Programs
Ernest Williamson, a campus custodian, was found to have "more likely than not" stared at a female undergraduate student while she showered. OPHD found that Williamson's behavior created a "sexually hostile and intimidating environment" for the student. Williamson was fired in March, and he later filed a grievance with the UC labor union AFSCME Local 3299. After an agreement with the university, Williamson retroactively resigned and was given a $46,944 severence payment.
