Dean of the UC Berkeley School of Law
OPHD found that Sujit Choudhry's behavior, which included kissing and hugging on multiple occasions toward his executive assistant Tyann Sorrell over more than seven months, violated UC sexual harassment policy. Choudhry admitted that he hugged and kissed Sorrell on several occasions, but said "there was never any sexual intent." He said he did these actions because it was his way of "saying thanks." Sorrell later filed a lawsuit against Choudhry and the UC Board of Regents for sexual harassment. Choudhry resigned from his position as dean two days later.
