Analyst, assistant, technologist

The Title IX office investigated allegations against three staff members at the UC Davis Medical Center who were accused of spreading rumors that a male co-worker was in a sexual relationship with his female supervisor in the workplace. Two of the staff members admitted to using profanity and discussing sexual rumors. After the allegations were substantiated against the assistant and technologist, both were docked the equivalent of five days' salary over the course of one month in lieu of a five-day unpaid suspension. The findings against the analyst were inconclusive. The analyst and the assistant both denied allegations of sexual harassment. The technologist openly admitted to the allegations and "did not seem to see anything wrong with his conduct," according to the Title IX investigation.
