A Title IX investigation found that, based on a preponderance of evidence, Eric Vides had violated UC sexual misconduct policy by repeatedly asking a potential employee over to his house or out to coffee and by hugging and kissing the complainant very close to the complainant's mouth. Vides denied these allegations. Vides also allegedly placed his hand on the complainant's thigh, and the complainant alleged that a rejection of Vides' advances negatively influenced job prospects. Vides, who denied the allegations, was issued a written notice of dismissal
