A Title IX Investigation found that the male respondent repeatedly walked up to the female complaintant while she was working and commented on her perfume, one time smelling the back of her neck and saying that her perfume reminded the respondent of how his ex-girlfriend smelled. The complaintant alleged that each time, she could feel his breath on her neck and said about one of the incidents, "I just played it off. I just wanted to go tell on him. But, I said I know how to fix the problem. I'm not going to wear the perfume anymore, and that's what I did." The respondent was suspended for two days and subsequently counseled. He denied the allegations, saying "I got too much on my hands to be doing something like that."
